Rob Watts
This Boston author is an extremely talented writer with a scary imagination! Which is a good thing as his latest book Huldulfolk is a heartstopping trip into the paranormal world of Icelandic mythology. I have to admit I’m a coward, so I don’t normally read anything paranormal/thriller/horror, but of course I just had to as Rob is a very dear friend of mine! I’m SO GLAD I DID! It’s a great story, which keeps your imagination spinning as you wait for the next encounter that Susie & Jeffery have to deal with when they return home from their honeymoon. In one scene Susie hears her mother in the basement…*gulp*…so glad there’s no basement in my house!!
To accompany the book is a CD soundtrack…The Traffic Lights – Huldulfolk - produced & arranged by the man himself (his talent knows no boundaries!) It has a beautiful ethereal sound to it & can be listened to while reading the book…which I did! But of course can be enjoyed just as much as a stand alone album.
Rob has also written many music & book reviews, as well has having published books in the late 90s & 2000s.
